Man (52) rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Coolock

The incident occurred at a house shortly after midnight last night.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING after a man (52) was stabbed at a house in Coolock.

The assault took place at a house in Belcamp Green in Coolock shortly after midnight last night.

The man received apparent stab wounds during the incident and was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his injuries are not said to be life threatening.

It is believed he was stabbed with a broken bottle or glass.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and no arrests have been made.
